Netaji Bhawan
Netaji Bhawan is a historic house museum dedicated to Subhas Chandra Bose, one of India’s most prominent independence leaders. Located on Elgin Road, it was Bose’s ancestral residence and the place from where he made his famous escape in 1941. The museum preserves personal belongings, letters, photographs, and documents related to his life and the freedom movement. It also houses research archives and exhibitions on the activities of the Indian National Army. Today, it serves as an important cultural and historical site attracting visitors interested in India’s struggle for independence.
